IF YOU DO NOT LIVE IN THE AREA AND REQUIRE YOUR NEW COMPANION TO BE SHIPPED WE ARE ABLE TO FACILITATE THAT FOR YOU.

 

PRIOR TO BEING SHIPPED BY AIR YOUR PUP/TEEN WILL NEED TO BE SEEN BY OUR VETRINARIAN TO OBTAIN A HEALTH CERTIFICATE.  THIS CERTIFICATE VERIFIES THAT THE PUP IS UP TO DATE ON VACCINATIONS, AND IS IN GOOD HEALTH.  IT MUST ACCOMPANY ANY ANIMAL SHIPPED VIA AIR OR GROUND TRANSPORT IN THE U.S..  THE COST FOR THIS CERTIFICATION IS $65.00.  IT WILL BE YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO PAY FOR THIS CERTIFICATE.  ONCE WE HAVE RECEIVED YOUR PAYMENT FOR YOUR PUPPY WE WILL MAKE AN APPOINTMENT FOR THE HEALTH CERTIFICATION.  THESE CERTIFICATES ARE VALID FOR 10 DAYS. 

BEFORE WE TAKE YOUR PUP IN TO SEE THE VET WE WILL NEED TO KNOW WHAT AIRLINE YOU PREFER TO USE FOR TRANSPORT.  YOUR PUPPY WILL BE FLYING OUT OF SEATTLE TACOMA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (SEA/TAC).  WE ARE AN INTERNATIONAL HUB AIRPORT AND CAN PROVIDE TRANSPORTATION ANYWHERE IN THE U.S..  INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING IS ALSO AVAILABLE BUT THERE ARE SOME DIFFERENT REGULATIONS THAT APPLY AND THOSE WILL BE DISCUSSED WITH YOU IF YOU REQUIRE INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENT.

 

AIR FARE

THERE ARE TWO WAYS THAT WE HANDLE THIS.

1.)  YOU  MAKE THE ARRANGEMENTS  ON THE AIRLINE OF YOUR CHOICE AND PAY THE SHIPPING COSTS WHEN YOUR PET ARRIVES.  THE AIRLINE WILL GIVE YOU AN AIRBILL # AND ALL PERTINENT FLIGHT INFORMATION INCLUDING FLIGHT NUMBERS/TIMES AND CONNECTING FLIGHT INFORMATION.  YOU WILL THEN FURNISH US WITH THAT INFORMATION  AND WE WILL VET CHECK YOUR PUP AND HAVE IT AT THE AIRPORT AT THE APPROPRIATE TIME.

2.)  YOU LET US KNOW WHAT AIRLINES ARE THE MOST CONVENIENT FOR YOU IN YOUR PARTICULAR AREA, ALSO THE HOURS THAT THE COUNTERS ARE OPEN IN YOUR AREA.  PLEASE NOTE: NOT ALL AREAS IN THE COUNTRY HAVE 24 HOUR CARGO/PASSENGER FLIGHTS.  WE WILL CONTACT THE CARRIER MAKE YOUR FLIGHT ARRANGEMENTS AND PAY FOR THE FLIGHT IN ADVANCE.  IN ORDER TO DO THIS WE WILL HAVE TO HAVE RECEIVED THE PAYMENT FROM YOU BY CASHIERS CHECK/WESTERN UNION OR ELECTRONIC FUNDS TRANSFER AT LEAST 5 DAYS PRIOR TO MAKING THE SHIPPING ARRANGEMENTS. 

 

SINCE 9/11 MANY THINGS HAVE CHANGED AT AIRPORTS -  EVEN CARGO SHIPPING.  DUE TO THE PATRIOT ACT YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO PUT CHARGES ON A CREDIT CARD UNLESS YOU DO SO IN PERSON.  THIS NECESSITATES THE PAYMENT BEING PUT ON YOUR CREDIT CARD AT YOUR END WHEN YOU PICK UP YOUR PUPPY.  APPROPRIATE PHOTO I.D. MUST BE PRESENTED AT THE TIME OF PICK-UP.  THE NAME ON THE CREDIT CARD MUST BE THE SAME AS THE PERSON WHO IS PICKING UP.  IF YOU PAY CASH TO US AND WE GIVE IT TO THE AIRLINES AT THE TIME OF DROP-OFF THEN WE PRESENT OUR ID AT THE TIME OF SHIPPING.  YOU WILL STILL NEED TO HAVE PROPER I.D. IN ORDER TO PICK UP YOUR PUP.

 

WE PREFER THAT YOU PAY ON YOUR END,  EITHER BY CREDIT CARD OR CASH AND THAT YOU MAKE THE ARRANGEMENTS  YOURSELF.  THAT WAY YOU ARE ASSURED THAT YOU ARE PAYING ONLY THE EXACT CHARGES.

WE MAKE NO MONEY ON SHIPPING BUT PEOPLE ARE OFTEN SURPRISED AT THE IT'S COST.   WE DO NOT CHARGE YOU FOR PREPPING YOUR PUPPY FOR FLIGHT, TRAVEL EXPENSES (INCLUDING PARKING, GAS OR TIME) OR THE TRIP TO AND FROM THE VET FOR IT'S TRANSPORT CERTIFICATION.
